We advised Alicorp in the acquisition of 60% of Inka Crops and Procesadora Tropical
We advised Alicorp Inversiones S.A. in the process of acquiring a 60% stake in the share capital of Inka Crops S.A. and Procesadora Tropical S.A. Inka Crops is a leading company in the Peruvian salty snack market, recognized by the brands Inka Chips and Inka Corns, and Procesadora Tropical is a related company that supplies Inka Crops with certain raw materials.
Our advice included comprehensive support during the acquisition process, including the structuring and negotiation of the operation in accordance with applicable regulations. The transaction was satisfactorily closed after certain conditions were met, including obtaining authorization from INDECOPI under the Law on Prior Control of Business Concentration Operations.
The PRCP team that oversaw the advisory was made up of our partners José Antonio Payet, Giovanna García, Carlos Patrón and David Kuroiwa, as well as our counsel Vania Cruz, our senior expert Carla Sinchi, our senior associate Paolo Franco and our associates Regina Odar and Sofía Rivera.
