Payet, Rey, Cauvi, Pérez Abogados advised Alpayana in the acquisition of 100% of the shares issued by Ariana Operaciones Mineras S.A.C., the company that owns the Ariana mining project, to Southern Peaks. This acquisition is part of Alpayana’s strategy to consolidate its position as a mining operator in the central Andes. It is estimated that the development of the Ariana mining project will require an investment of USD 200 million.
The team that participated in the transaction was led by our partner José Cúneo and included Ángel Chávez, Alexandra Pázzara, Héctor Navarro and Alejandro Delgado.
PRCP advised on the due diligence of the Ariana mining project and on the negotiation of the share purchase agreement and other contractual documentation.
The acquisition is expected to be completed during the second quarter of 2025.
