We advised the International Finance Corporation on a financing of up to US$30 million granted in favor of Aqua Expeditions Pte. Ltd., the parent company of Aqua Expeditions S.A.C.
Our advice included the structuring and granting of security interests governed by Peruvian law securing the financing. The transaction involved additional complexity due to the entry into force of Peru’s new Movable Collateral Law, which became effective during the interim period between signing and disbursement. This required a detailed review and adjustment of the security structure to ensure full compliance with the new legal framework.
