We advised Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) in the acquisition of a 50% stake in the capital stock of the companies that make up the Inkia Group (Kallpa Generación S.A., Orazul Energy Perú S.A. and Inkia Americas S.A.C.), one of the main power generation groups in Peru, for an approximate value of US$ 3.4 billion.
Our advice included comprehensive accompaniment in all aspects of Peruvian law related to the transaction, including the performance of the legal audit of the target companies, as well as the review, structuring and negotiation of the transaction documents with regard to local regulations.
